ひさびさNYへ行きます！まだ実感ないけど：）
リンジー（親友）は、ノースカロライナの留学のときからの友達で、ほんとに滅多に会えないんだけど、心はつながっているソウルメイト！って感じです。ほんと、かわいいし頭もいいし、そしてちょっとイっちゃっているところらへんが大好き！（w）いつかはご近所に住みたいなくらい思える、そんな大切な友達です＾＾

ちょうど誕生日を間近にむかえて、休暇をとるのは結構理想だったりする。
誕生日は仕事だけどねぇ。w　Bon voyage(自分に）！！

I'm visiting New York soon! I'm so excited! I have some friends there. Especially Lindsey, my best friend from North Carolina, is such a cute and smart girl. She is probably the youngest tea teather in the US! (She's crazy for tea!) I brought her a Japanese sweet called "Tsukimi Manju". They look like a rabit!
I'll enjoy exploring NY and hanging out with my friends! My birthday is coming, so this trip will give me some decent time to think of my life^^

かわいすぎて食べられない？！いや、ちゃんと食べた。w
会社の女子が祝ってくれましたぁ＾＾うれしぃ（涙）。
そして大好きなひよこが。。。（なんでバレたんだ？w）
グルメな女子が選ぶケーキは毎回おいしい！誕生日が何度もくるのは喜ばしい年齢ではないけど（苦笑）、みんなで輪になってケーキ食べるってやけにおいしいよね。
今年の抱負は健康に過ごす事！おばあちゃんみたいだけど、健康って大事です。笑
たしか去年も同じことを言っていたような。。。一年健康に過ごせたことに感謝＾＾

Too cute to eat?! Well, I ate it:)! My co-workers at work celebrated my birthday! I was so happy to see this cute cake with an drawing of a chick! (How come they know that I'm crazy for chickpeas:)? Nobody wants to have birthday so often(means getting older), but eating in a circle with your family and friends make meals and desserts taste special!
My goal is to stay healthy! I sound like an old mama, but health is very imporant! I think I said the same thing last year, too:) I appreciate that I have been healthy!

US OPENに行ってきましたぁ！しかもセリーナ・ウィリアムズのシングルを見れるとは。。。感激！テニスっていうか格闘技に見えるくらいのパワーでした。w　そんなパワフルなプレーに圧倒されましたが、それはきっと会場全体もワクワク感が満ちていたからでしょう＾＾　
NYは９．１１からしばらく経ったのと、ドル安の影響で観光客がかなり増えているとのこと。あとは映画の影響も多少あるんじゃないかな？街はどんどんきれいになって（そういう政策らしい）、一種のディズニーランドみたいなスペシャルな空間ができあがってました！ほら、エビアンのゴミ箱もなんだかかわいく見えてしまうから不思議。笑　この旅は、ちょっと惹かれたものもパシパシ写真撮ってみたんだけど、自分のツボが何なのか、第3者の目が開くといいなと思います！w



I went to US OPEN in NY! I was so happy to watch Serena Williams! Her play looks like a martial art, not tennis:) Well, I was very impressed by her powerful tennis. I think that is because the studium was full of excitement. A few years has passed sinec 911, and USD is not strong, and more tourists visit NY this year, according to my friend in NY. NYC is improving the cleaness to attract more tourists. I think it will be very good for the local people to live happily not only for tourist! Look, this cute trash box;)!!

LOVE ひよこまめ！そう、これHummus（フムス）というひよこ豆とタヒニっていうゴマのペーストでできたディップ。あとナスがメインのババガヌッシュ。どちらも中東、地中海付近でよく食べられる。といっても、NYのデリにはいっぱいあるし、いわゆるベジタリアンカフェにもほぼある！（だからそういう食べられるところを日本にも作りたいのです！w）パックならスーパーでもジャム感覚で売ってるよ（これまた、Hummusファンにはうらやましいぃいい）。
でも手作りHummus（フムス）が一番！ってことで誕生日パーチーをひよこ豆で開いてくれました！（サンキューリンジー！）

（実は３年前にひよこ豆好きすぎて作った冒険記。w）

そして友達！みんなでコネコネ、、、料理を楽しみました！キッチン広いっていいわぁ。

Lindsey and her friends threw a party for my birthday! She knows that I'm crazy for hummus, and we cooked hummus and baba ghanoush! So tasty and yummy!!
I wish I could have this big kitcken at home in Japan:)
Throwing a party at home is not so common because most of the people live in a small space:))

自由の女神に再会♪
何度見ても感動できる。。。
そりゃリンジーの再会にはかなわないけれど＾＾

I met her, the Statue of Liberty after long absence!
I can be impressed many times:)!!
But I was moved more by seeing Lindsey, of course!
